What's the best way to repair a cast iron block with a crack that has to hold oil under pressure?

This is in a tractor casting that houses the power steering cylinder. What's the best way to repair a cast iron block with a crack that has to hold oil under pressure?
my take was that you're out of luck.

unless, of course, you don't mind it cracking again, and squirting the oil all over again.

not to mention what the pressure might do to the casting.

but Nigel seems to understand.

I'd worry, but might take his advice.

however, first I'd check to see if i couldn't buy one first.

that would be my hope. What's the best way to repair a cast iron block with a crack that has to hold oil under pressure?
My dad's 79 Ford truck's block cracked in '93 and he just bought some stuff thats supposed to fill the crack and its held every since. its not his daily driver or any thing but its his woods truck and it dose turn quite a few rpms occasionaly
Weld it
It needs to be welded but in a special way....heated in an oven and then welded up by an expert who knows how to use cast iron welding rod....so what I'm saying is that you need a) to take the casting off so it can be heated up and b) someone who really knows what they are doing.

But it can be done and can be quite successful as a fix. Old timey car guys are the ones to ask in your town.
bronze patch, nothing else will stick to cast iron.
Find someone who can TIG weld
