Does anyone know what it may cost to either replace a cracked oil pan or engine repair on a 2001 Ford Ecsape?

I have a 2001 Ford Escape...was driving down the road (filled with potholes) and the oil light came on w/ a little smoke...pulled over car won't strart, attempted to add oil and it went right through to ground. Had truck towed. Now I am waiting until the service staff have a chance to look at it tomorrow (Mon morning). Tow person said he thought cracked oil pan or engine trouble. Also, does anyone know if this would be covered by the warranty and/or insurance company (Michigan)?Does anyone know what it may cost to either replace a cracked oil pan or engine repair on a 2001 Ford Ecsape?
HOPEFULLY THE SMOKE WAS FROM OIL ON THE EXHAUST. THE OIL PAN AND LABOR SHOULD BE UNDER 200.00 BUCKS AS LONG AS NOTHING ELSE HAPPENED. AS FAR AS MICHIGAN LIABILITY --FORGET THAT!!! ----------'; TRY TO GET A SECOND HAND PAN';.Does anyone know what it may cost to either replace a cracked oil pan or engine repair on a 2001 Ford Ecsape?
oil pan will cost you more than 200 having it put on will be about the same
