Oil leaking from engine casing crack? how to repair?

hi, my motorcycle (kawa zx9r) decided to take a trip down the street without me, on its side and now it has a hairline crack on the engine casing (its on the left hand side).

i estimate its losing about 15-20 ml per day which is nothing but obviously id still rather it wasnt there.

anyone know what i can use to repair it.

it doesnt have to look asthetically pleasing because you dont realy see it, just needs to get the job done.

Drain the oil, really clean it up and scuff it with coarse sandpaper, like 80 grit. Apply JB weld,(auto part store) to the crack, after that sets up good then spray it with a can of auto body undercoating. Hope this helps!Oil leaking from engine casing crack? how to repair?
you Can Use JOB weld To do the job. 1st. u got to Sand or grind the area a little to give the JB something to stick to. Then you put it on and let it dry. If u want to you can paint it.

You can get JB weld at walmart.
I work in a motorbike dealership and have used JB weld many times to fix cracks with great success.

Good advice poster no1. Exactly what I would say.
jb weld is worth trying before you change the cases. i have had it work also.
