Oil Space Heater -- Mine just won't come on. It seems to still have plenty of oil. Can they be repaired?

We think it might be the switch, the thermostat, or the cord.

If either of those things is the cause of it not working,

can they be replaced? If so, where would I get replacement parts, %26amp; instructions on how to do it. Or, who would do it for me?

(This space heater looks like a radiator,

but has oil instead of water,

%26amp; plugs into electricity to heat the oil up.)Oil Space Heater -- Mine just won't come on. It seems to still have plenty of oil. Can they be repaired?
have you checked to see if the outlet is working? try pluging a lamp into the out let, if you have power then, its the heater, cheaper to replace it than fix it,Oil Space Heater -- Mine just won't come on. It seems to still have plenty of oil. Can they be repaired?
before you plug it in you should be sure that the coils have been in upright position otherwise oil may be displaced and air could be bubbled inside if it could only be so simple huh? Report Abuse
