How much will it cost to repair an oil leak?

i drive a mazda millenia year 95, and the car has been leaking oil.How much will it cost to repair an oil leak?
It really depends on where the oil is leaking from.

Valve covers oil leaks or a leak from the oil pressure sending unit are the cheapest and easiest to fix.

Oil leaks from oil pan, front seals and cam seals are more expensive.

One of the more expensive seals would be the rear oil seal.

Just depends on where it's leaking from. How much will it cost to repair an oil leak?
Depends on where the leak is. The parts are relative inexpensive, but the labor to fix may not be. Take to a few shops for estimates.
WELL THAT WOULD DEPEND ON WHERE AND WHAT IS LEAKING. iF SAY IT IS THE VALVE COVER NOT MUCH TO REPLACE. bUT SAY IT IS A REAR MAIN SEAL THEN IT IS GONNA COST A LOT MORE. yOU NEED TO FIND OUT JUST WHERE IT IS LEAKING AND GO ON FROM THERE
1 dollar to 8 thousand. DEPENDS WHERE IT IS LEAKING FROM!!!!
A leak from valve covers are not bad expensive. The real question is, why is it leaking? If the gaskets are just old and breaking up, they need replacing. If your engine has blow by, causing pressure in the crankcase to force the oil out somewhere and the valve cover gaskets are the least resistant place, that brings on more questions. If you replace the gaskets with blow by present, it will just start leaking again either there or somewhere else.

The best thing is just go to 2 or 3 shops and get an estimate. Surely one of them will check for evidence of blow by and crankcase pressure.
Valve covers (depending on how accessable they are) should run about 50-80 bucks to replace the gaskets.
it depends where the leak is and from what part. a worn out gasket is inexpensive to replace, a leak from engine-transmission or transmission-drive shafts it might be a bit more expensive. in any case, the labor might be up to 75% of the total cost (parts are usually less expensive).
